Dreadlock Advise
Itches..!
Mix up a little apple cider vinager and water solution (1 part vinager - 9 parts water) in a spray bottle and spritz onto your scalp (not your dreadz) and let it sit for a couple minutes before rinsing yout hair. If you find this solution too weak, put more vinager-- always being caerful never more than 50% 50% unless you have a lice problem.
Keep it away from your eyes..!
Even though this water/vinager formula is quite diluted, Adilocks doesn't want you to burn or irritate your scalp.
Adilocks does not recomend to use it more than 3 times a week.
Dandruff..?
Go to the health food store and get a bag or dried rosemary, not powdered (it'll look like little sticks). Put a large handful in a pot and cover it with water plus an inch. DON'T BOIL IT, but just simmer it for about 20 min. until the liquid is really dark like a strong thick tea, then strain it into a cup or something you can pour easily, then swab your scalp with a cotton ball dipped into the tea, so it gets to all the irritated spots. The point is to keep the solution in contact with your scalp as much as possible so it is effective.
Let it dry, don't bother rinsing unless you really want to. Hopefully you will notice the dandruff completely gone by the next day and no itch..!
If it reappears, do it again.
There are many reasons why we might get dandruff..
-You are shampooing to frequently and drying out your scalp.
-Shampooing too freaquently could also make the scalp produce oily flakes.
-Weather
-Diet
-Heredity
** Always remember to use common sense, there is no right or wrong about your dreadz, you just need to find what works for you **
